Tara Pearson

Artist

Tara Pearson is an excellent young Ulverston artist, and she has designed two greeting cards using linocuts to illustrate slices of Ulverston folk history. One is a Good Friday recipe recorded in 1810, the other is a Hair-pulling Rhyme (Dont, kids. It hurts.) first recorded in the 1930s but likely going back the the 19thc. Our Alex has organised production, and we are very proud to now have these cards on sale, sealed and  with envelopes, around town for £2 each.

The proceeds go to the artist, to support her work.
